Most non-medical home care in California is paid for out of pocket. Private pay offers the most flexibility, allowing you to receive customized care without restrictions. At Believe N Care, we provide clear rate structures, detailed service plans, and support in managing care hours efficiently.

📝 Long-Term Care Insurance

Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance may help cover the cost of in-home care services such as personal care, companionship, and help with activities of daily living (ADLs). We assist clients in navigating claims and providing the required documentation to LTC providers.

Helpful Tip: If you or your loved one has a policy, review the “Home Care” benefits section or contact the insurer to confirm eligibility and reimbursement details.

👨‍⚕️ Public Programs (Limited)

Non-medical home care is not typically covered by:

• Medicare – Only covers short-term, medically necessary home health services prescribed by a doctor.
• Medi-Cal – May provide limited in-home support through specific programs (like IHSS), but services are not guaranteed and must be approved through county evaluation.

💳 Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
